Staying Tool Aware with Laveena Ramchandani image
Talk Description

New tools and new versions of tools are released all the time, a fantastic problem for the testing community. This poses a challenge, how do you stay on top of all the latest tools, packages, libraries and their versions?

In this talk Laveena will share how they stay tool aware. They will share their resources, approaches, techniques and much more. This talk will give you real insight into how an active professional stays up to date with all the latest tools.

My talk is based on how I stayed tool aware and how my way of staying tool aware can help others too. I feel it's vital to listen in to conferences, watch demo's for a tool and even speak about tools as that helps one stay up to day. Stayin tool aware also means researching, updating tools and doing these carefully.  I have made use of our senses to help make this clear.

By the end of this session, you'll be able to:

  • Understand the importance of being tool aware
Test Manager - Data science & Digital @ EasyJet
I am a vibrant, motivated and committed individual. I have been in the testing industry now for over 7 years. It's been a great experience learning and sharing skills. I aim to broaden my knowledge further more. Data science is what I am currently focusing on, and it's very exciting to see all the new things one could learn out of it and merge it with testing. Definitely quite interesting!
